Managing Meetings in the Nextere Connect Meetings Section
The Meetings section in Nextere Connect helps you start instant meetings, schedule future sessions, and join existing meetings from a single view. Use this screen to manage all your meetings efficiently and keep your team aligned.
Open the Meetings Section
From the left navigation bar, click the Meetings icon (camera symbol) to open the Meetings section. This step is important because it takes you directly to the area where all meeting-related actions are available.
Start an Instant Meeting
At the top-left, select the Start Meeting card and click the plus icon to launch a meeting immediately. Starting an instant meeting is useful when you need a quick ad-hoc discussion without prior scheduling.
Schedule a Future Meeting
Next to Start Meeting, click the Schedule card to create a new meeting with a specific date and time. Scheduling is important for planning ahead, sending invites, and ensuring participants can join at a planned time.
Join a Meeting with a Code
Use the Join Meeting card to enter a meeting code provided by someone else. This option is helpful when you have been invited to a meeting that is not already listed under your meetings.
Filter meetings by status
Below the top cards, use the All, Upcoming, and Past filters to change which meetings are shown in the list. Filtering is important to quickly find the meeting you need, whether it is an upcoming session or a previously completed one.
Review meeting details in the list
In the meeting list, review each row to see the meeting name, date, and time. Checking these details helps you confirm you are joining or editing the correct meeting, especially when several events have similar names.
Join, edit, or delete a meeting
On the right side of each meeting row, click Join to enter the meeting,
The pencil icon to edit meeting details, or the trash icon to delete the meeting. Managing meetings from this list saves time and ensures your schedule stays accurate and up to date.
Notes & Limitations
You may only be able to edit or delete meetings that you created or that you have permission to manage.
Time shown for each meeting follows your profile or browser time zone; verify if collaborating with users in other regions.
If a meeting has already ended, the Join option may be disabled or may only allow re-entry if recording or follow-up features are enabled.
FAQs
Q1. Why can’t I see a meeting I was invited to?
Make sure the correct filter (All or Upcoming) is selected; if it still does not appear, the meeting might belong to a different workspace or was created outside Nextere Connect.
Q2. Can I reschedule a meeting from this screen?
Yes, if you have permission, click the edit (pencil) icon on the meeting row to change its date, time, or other details.
Q3. What happens when I delete a meeting?
Deleting a meeting removes it from the list for all participants and cancels access to the meeting link, so use this action only when the session is no longer needed.
Q4. Do I need a code to join every meeting?
No. For meetings listed on this screen, you can join directly using the Join button; a code is only needed when joining via the Join Meeting card.
