How to process multiple agencies in Central
How to process multiple agencies in Central (Bulk Import)
Introduction
The Bulk Import feature allows Agency Administrators to upload multiple agencies simultaneously using a standardized Excel template. Use this feature to save time when onboarding large groups of sub-agencies or partners.
Prerequisites
Microsoft Excel: Required to edit the .xlsx import template.
On the left sidebar, click Agency Management > Agencies
In the top-right corner, click the + Import button.
In the top-right corner Click + Add Bulk Agency Import.

Click the link labeled "Sample bulk agency file" to download the official template.
Open the Excel file and enter your data.
Important: You must only include the Principal Agent of each agency and the correct Agency NPN. Ensure there are no empty rows between entries.
Upload and Assign

From the dropdown menu, Choose the Upline Agency that will oversee these new imports (e.g., Invited Agency Demo).
In this example the agency "Invited Agency Demo" is the upline for the example agency.

Review the file name to ensure the correct version is attached.

Troubleshooting/Tips
Format Errors: Do not change the headers in the Excel template. The system will reject the file if the column names are altered.
Duplicate NPNs: If an agency NPN already exists in the system, that specific row will fail to import to prevent duplicate records.
Refresh Page: If the list doesn't update immediately after the "Success" message, refresh your browser (F5).
FAQ
1. How many agencies can I import at once?
While the system handles hundreds of entries, we recommend batches of 200 or fewer for optimal performance and easier error checking.
2. What happens if some rows have errors but others don't?
The system will typically process the valid rows and provide an error log for the failed ones. You can correct the errors in the template and re-upload only the corrected rows.
3. Do the imported agents receive notification emails immediately?
Yes. Once the import is processed, each Principal Agent listed in the file will receive an automated onboarding email with their login credentials.
4. Can I use my own CSV file instead of the template?
No. The system is specifically mapped to the "Sample bulk agency file" headers. Using a custom layout will result in a mapping error.
