How to invite an agency with the "Add Agency" button

This guide provides a step-by-step process for inviting an agency using the "Add Agency" button. This guide will also show the steps the Principal Agent needs to take to successfully complete their onboarding process and be registered as a principal of their agency.

Prerequisites

  • For the Upline: You must have the Principal Agent’s SSN, NPN, and a valid email address.

  • For the Principal Agent: Access to the registration email and your FEIN/NPN details.


Inviting the Agency (Upline/FMO Action)

1. Navigate to Agency Management > Agencies from the main dashboard.


2. Click on "Agencies".

3. Click the Add Agency button (located on the far right).


4. On the Verify NIPR page, enter the agent's SSN and NPN.


5. Enter the Email Address where the agent should receive their invitation.


6. Click Verify NIPR to pull professional records.


7. Complete any remaining required fields and click Save.


8. The principal agent will receive an email with their log in credentials. Open the email titled "Your Nextere Credentials" and click Login Now!



9. Initial Sign-In: Enter the temporary Username and Password provided in the email and click Sign In.



10. Update Password: Create a new password and click Submit.


11. Verification:  Enter your FEIN and NPN.

  • Click Verify with NIPR to auto-populate your agency data.

  • Manually fill in any missing required fields.


12. Once the fields are filled in, click "Update".



13. Finalize: Click Update, then click Continue in the upper right corner to finish.



14. Onboarding is now complete!




Notes

Troubleshooting/Tips

  • NIPR Sync: If the Verify with NIPR button doesn't pull data, double-check that the SSN and NPN match state licensing records exactly.

  • Email Issues: If the agent hasn't received their login, ask them to check their "Spam" or "Promotions" folder for an email from app.nextere.com.

  • Missing Fields: You cannot click Update or Continue if any field outlined in red is left blank.


FAQ

1. What happens if the NIPR verification fails during the invitation? 

This usually occurs due to a typo in the SSN or NPN. Verify the credentials with the agent. If the data is correct but still fails, you may manually enter the details if the system allows, or contact support.

2. Can the Principal Agent change their username? 

No. The username is typically locked to the email address provided during the invitation phase. However, they can update their display name and contact email in their profile settings later.

3. Does the invitation link expire? 

For security purposes, the temporary password/link may expire after 24–48 hours. If it expires, the Upline must trigger a password reset for the agent or re-send the invitation.
